This slouchy leather beauty, Meadow, takes us back to the free-spirited ‘60s. Equipped with both cross-body + over-the-shoulder straps, a faux drawstring detail + top zip entry, it's the epitome of cool casualness.  Featuring hand-crafted leather knots + floral embroidery, this is a true WOW statement bag.  Check out the smaller sizes; Meadow Small for a more compact travel size and our Aster circle bag.

    • 100% Full-grain leather handcrafted by artisans in South America and India.
    • Every hide is unique so you will notice natural variations in the grain texture and shading which are hallmarks of high-quality.
    • 2 Straps :(1st strap) 1” wide carry handle- 9” drop. (2nd strap)- 1” wide adjustable/detachable crossbody strap-27”max:13 1/2” min drop, and leather drawstring pull through closure.
    • Top zip entry with leather pull
    • Exterior features hand embroidered, leather knot detail and back zip pocket.
    • Interior organizer: slip pocket, 4 credit card slots,3 pen holders, back wall zip pocket and 2 open pockets.

About Our Founders

Founder and CEO Paul Schreiber started Latico Leathers fresh out of college in 1984. He began selling leather goods out of his trunk in NYC, and soon enough, specialty boutiques in Greenwich Village couldn't keep his merchandise in stock. Bands like the Grateful Dead eventually became fans of his genuine leather bags, and Latico grew into its identity as a leather goods company with a rock and roll twist.

Paul met his wife Lainie — an uptown girl with a New York fashion background — and the two launched a celebrated women’s line. The unique artisan linings, unexpected leather treatments, and extensive interior organization created during that time would come to define Latico’s signature style.

Today, our customers refer to us as their “one-stop shop” for quality leather goods. In fact, over 80% of our business comes from repeat customers. We can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support!

    GORGEOUS and UNIQUE!

    I am totally obsessed with this Meadow purse! The mustard color is gorgeous. The design/textures of this bag is so unique. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve only carried it around twice so far and have received so many compliments! Great for someone that also enjoys adding a little boho/hippie moment to their wardrobe. 10/10 💛

    This purse is beautiful, lightweight and just the size I was looking for. I had read other reviews and one person commented that this bag was more tan than mustard. I was hoping that was true as I did not want a yellow bag. It is more tan than yellow. Have already received many compliments

    This is an excellent value for the money. I don't care about brand name as much as how a purse feels and how I can keep items in it, and this meets my high expectations with all of the zipped pockets and how comfortable it is to carry. I also prefer having a bag that does not look like everyone else's, and this has a more unique appearance, which is why I took a chance and ordered it.
