Vista Leather Crossbody Bag

I was having difficulty deciding between the Callie, the Gita and the Vista so I ordered all three to see them in person. After trying each of them I knew that the Vista was the one for me and I returned the Callie (not big enough to lay well and look good with all my stuff in it) and the Gita (didn't like the bubble leather as much as the smooth).

I would call the Vista a medium size bag in appearance, but it can hold a LOT without looking over-stuffed. The length of the detachable adjustable strap surprised me -- I am not a small person and this strap is long enough for me to wear the bag crossbody on my hip or even lower if I want, plus it is light, soft, flexible and very comfortable. There is an outside pocket on either side of the bag, one a large, lined, zippered pocket that holds my receipts, dry cleaning tickets and other loose papers and the other an easy-access, supremely convenient magnetic slip pocket that holds my Listerine tabs and my keys, if I need to put them somewhere (I usually carry them in my pants pocket).

Inside there is the standard Latico organizer on one side with a long zipper pocket above slots for cards with a deeper slip pocket behind those and three pen holders, which I've never had in a bag before (I love them). The other side has two open slip pockets, the larger of which fits my checkbook perfectly. This is my second Latico bag. I had my previous bag for about 10 years. I still have it and will continue to use it but I wanted a smaller bag. Now, about the Vista bag. It's interior is smaller than I thought it would be. Which is my fault as I didn't account for the pockets inside the bag. So I am unable to fit everything I need but I'm trying to make it work. This bag is beautiful, seems durable, and can be dressed up or down. It has plenty of pockets for your stuff (if it's small enough). My major issue with this bag and I think of it as kind of a design flaw, is that there is a large interior zipper pocket. My other bag also had this. The problem with this pocket is that it is large and kind of goes beneath the bottom interior of the bag. Which means if you put, let's say, feminine products in there, it cuts the interior space down significantly. Even if you put one thing in the pocket it falls straight down and takes up space inside the bag. This is not a problem with the larger bags as there is a lot of interior space. It is difficult to use the side pocket and fit items in the interior pocket. I wish the bag was about 2" wider to make all the pockets usable. I'm definitely keeping the bag and will use it but it isn't wasn't what I was hoping for.

The exterior pockets are very spacious and don't hinder the interior space.
