With Your Help, We've Donated Over 100,000 Meals to Feeding America

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we began donating 10 meals to Feeding America for every purchase made on our website. Since starting this initiative, we've donated over 100,000 meals to communities in need — all thanks to you, the Latico family. Below, find a message of thanks from our founders, Paul and Lainie Schreiber.

As many businesses owners can attest, COVID has been the most unique challenge we’ve faced so far in our business journey. With global freight coming to a grinding halt, all acquisition of leather and hardware has proved incredibly challenging, forcing us to adjust our development and delivery calendars and remain flexible as new situations arise.

Throughout the time we were forced to close our doors, it was extremely important to us to not let anyone on our team go — a team we consider family. Although it was a financial sacrifice for the company, we managed keep our entire team on board, a few of whom have been with us for decades.

When food banks were experiencing shortages during quarantine, we also introduced a new program as a way to give back to the community and do our part to help families in need. We started donating 10 meals to Feeding America with every purchase made on our website. And now, thanks to our loyal and steadfast customers, we’ve donated 90,000 meals (and counting) since we began the initiative!
