About Our Founders

Founder and CEO Paul Schreiber started Latico Leathers fresh out of college in 1984. He began selling leather goods out of his trunk in NYC, and soon enough, specialty boutiques in Greenwich Village couldn't keep his merchandise in stock. Bands like the Grateful Dead eventually became fans of his genuine leather bags, and Latico grew into its identity as a leather goods company with a rock and roll twist.

Paul met his wife Lainie — an uptown girl with a New York fashion background — and the two launched a celebrated women’s line. The unique artisan linings, unexpected leather treatments, and extensive interior organization created during that time would come to define Latico’s signature style.

Today, our customers refer to us as their “one-stop shop” for quality leather goods. In fact, over 80% of our business comes from repeat customers. We can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support!

Totally love this!!

I love this wallet! The fact it fits my IPhone even w a case and a pop up. Makes it snug but doable. The only thing I wish it was slightly bigger so I can tuck it under my arm, but I still love it. I got the eggplant color and I got the bag that matches it which is a great small briefcase for files or small stuff for work. Then I switch it to cross body use. I can’t use anything on my right shoulder due to injury. That’s why I chose the handbag and wallet. Smaller and easier to use. Not much weight.

Great Brand

The zippers move SO smoothly. I have several wallets and purses from the Latico brand and really like it. High quality, superb leather at a price lower than similar products. VALUE here.

Nice Leather.

I am super happy with this leather wallet. It is slightly larger than I expected but it fits all my cards and my cash. Very well made and sturdy. I would buy it again.
