Each Latico bag is handmade with love by talented artisans throughout South America and India. We're passionate about environmental sustainability and giving back — our leathers are byproducts of the meat and dairy industry that would otherwise go to waste.
Additionally, we donate 10 meals to Feeding America for every purchase made on our website. Thanks to our loyal customers, we've been able to donate 100,000 meals and counting to this incredible organization.

About Our Founders
Founder and CEO Paul Schreiber started Latico Leathers fresh out of college in 1984. He began selling leather goods out of his trunk in NYC, and soon enough, specialty boutiques in Greenwich Village couldn't keep his merchandise in stock. Bands like the Grateful Dead eventually became fans of his genuine leather bags, and Latico grew into its identity as a leather goods company with a rock and roll twist.
Paul met his wife Lainie — an uptown girl with a New York fashion background — and the two launched a celebrated women’s line. The unique artisan linings, unexpected leather treatments, and extensive interior organization created during that time would come to define Latico’s signature style.
Today, our customers refer to us as their “one-stop shop” for quality leather goods. In fact, over 80% of our business comes from repeat customers. We can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support!

I've been shopping around for a long time looking for a small leather purse that meets my needs. I was almost ready to give up, but then I found the Latico website. There were so many cute purses, but I had specific needs in mind. I wanted something small, but also wanted to be able to carry all my necessities, including my gun. I didn't think it would be possible to find the right purse, but the Sunny Crossbody surprisingly is PERFECT! The 3 sections make all the difference. I can fit everything I need in it, and yet it's still super small and lightweight. I seriously can't believe how much stuff it holds. I can even get to everything easier than I did in my larger purse. The only problem is that it won't fit a regular size wallet. I'm not using a wallet at the moment. Just keeping my cards and some cash in the convenient card pockets in the back section. I may buy a small card holder wallet when I find the right one, but for now I'm ok without it. The leather is beautiful, and so soft. The zippers work smoothly too, which is very important to me. I'm very impressed with the quality.

Purchased one for myself; getting tired of large totes.
Then my granddaughter saw it and wanted one. I am 74 and she is 24. We both agree that this has a place for everything one needs. Not to mention that it is beautiful and the leather is scrumptious!
